Obituary for Phyllis Jean Thompson

Phyllis Jean Thompson, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2019.

Born January 29, in Meadow Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Marie Slayton Gwinn.
 
Phyllis married Dillard Thompson on September 7, 1957. She worked as a cashier at Cluvers Restaurant before retiring.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Dillard Thompson; and her son Danny Thompson.

She is survived by her loving children, Donna Dreier (Brian) of Durand, IL, Denise Miller, Crystal Lake, IL; 7 grandchildren, Amber, Tawny, Bryton, Jorie, Tyler, Danielle and Dylan; and 3 great-grandchildren, Keagan, Kira and Zena.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at Smathers Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Patton Memorial Cemetery, Meadow Bridge.

Friends may call one hour before the service from 12 – 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
